History of the group

The Webcom Group's story began in the year 2000, with website development for clients and the creation of their own projects under the Webcom brand. In the same year, the Webcom International division was opened.

Four years later, the Belarusian SEO (search promotion) division — www.promo-webcom.by was created. Today, the division is responsible for the comprehensive promotion of clients' businesses online, and now operates as a separate company — Webcom Performance in Belarus.

In 2007, an office was opened in Russia — which quickly grew into the independent digital agency Webcom Russia.

Since 2009, Webcom has been a certified Google and Yandex agency, since 2014 — a certified myTarget agency.

From 2014 to 2017, every spring Webcom held the international practical digital conference "ByNet Week", gathering more than 1500 people under one roof for 4 days in one of the largest convention centres in Minsk.

The conference later transformed into the "Year of ByNet", a series of themed conferences for the main sectors of the Belarusian economy. Over 12 conferences alone were held in 2018.

In 2016, Webcom Group received Google Premier Partner status and Google Education Partner status in Belarus and Kazakhstan. The Webcom Academy launched Google Digital Education programs.
That same year, 5 Webcom Group employees became teachers at the Yandex Webmasters School.

In 2017 and 2018, Webcom Group received Google Ads Premier SMB Partner status; became certified with Bing Ads and Google Marketing Platform; and became a certified VK agency.
